Managing director Paul Woods started his career as a junior shipping clerk in 1966. In the early years Paul held a number of operational posts before switching to sales in the late 1970's.

Prior to launching Major Freight Services in 1997, he was sales director for one of the largest privately owned shipping agents in the UK.

A member of both The institute of Logistics and Transport and The institute of Export Paul is a well known and respected figure in shipping circles.
